Alexa Calendar
Alexa can add events, tell you what’s coming up and remind you about events or appointments.
Voice Command
How to check what events you have upcoming:
- Say "Alexa, do I have any events on my calendar for [add time frame].
- Example: "Alexa, do I have any events on my calendar for this week?"
- Example: "Alexa, do I have any events on my calendar for this week?"
- Alexa will respond and say "You have [amount of events] left for [time frame]" and will list your events.
- Example: "You have 2 events left for this week. On Monday at 2pm you have a doctor's appointment and on Wednesday at 11am, there is bingo."
How to check what events you have upcoming:
- Say, "Alexa, please add an event for next Saturday."
- Alexa will respond and say, "Sure, what time?"
- Example: "All day, 2pm."
- Example: "All day, 2pm."
- Alexa will then ask, "What is the name of the event?"
- Example: "Mum's birthday."
- Example: "Mum's birthday."
- Alexa will say, "I have added this event."
Steps in the App
- Open the Alexa app.
- Tap the More button (≡).
- Tap Calendar.
- Tap add event.
- Tap Add calendar event.
- Tap what’s happening and type in the event.
- Example: Birthday or appointment.
- Example: Birthday or appointment.
- Fill in the details of the event.
- Example: Start Date (Sunday, 7 Sep 2025), Start Time (8:45am), End date (Sunday, 7 Sep 2025).
- Example: Start Date (Sunday, 7 Sep 2025), Start Time (8:45am), End date (Sunday, 7 Sep 2025).
- Tap Save at the top right.
