Alexa can play your favourite songs, playlists, or radio stations anytime to help you relax, have fun, or enjoy your day.

Voice Command

 

  1. To play music you can say things like: 

    1. "Alexa, play Amazon Music" 
    2. "Alexa, play Ed Sheeran" 
    3. "Alexa, play a podcast." 
    4. "Alexa, play [song]"  

 

If you do not have your Amazon Music Account connected, please see below for the steps. 

Steps in the App

 

  1. Open the Alexa app. 

  2. Tap the More button (≡).
     
  3. Tap Settings.  

  4. Scroll down and tap Music & Podcasts. 

  5. Tap Amazon Music. 

  6. Select Open the App. 

  7. Log into your Amazon Music Account. 

  8. Once logged into your account, press settings. 

  9. Tap ‘Connected to’, to change or see which device your account is connected to. 

  10. Go back into your Amazon Alexa App and follow steps 1 to 4. 

  11. Tap Family Default Services and change music, podcasts and artists to Amazon Music.
