Whisper Mode

Alexa can respond quietly when you whisper, so you don’t have to speak loudly or worry about disturbing others. 

Voice Command

 

  1. Ensure you app has whisper mode turned on (See steps below, if needed).
     

  2. Whisper, “Alexa, turn on Whisper Mode and tell me the time.” 

  3. Alexa will reply using a whispered voice.

Steps in the App

 

  1. Open the Alexa app. 

  2. Tap More (≡) at the bottom right. 

  3. Tap Settings. 

  4. Tap Voice Responses. 

  5. Toggle Whisper Mode On or Off.
